NB! Special ferromagnetic-based pots/pans are suitable for the induction cooktop—that is, to put it more simply, those to which a magnet attaches. When purchasing pots/pans, it’s definitely worth checking the compatibility marking for induction.

The induction plate won’t start operating until it detects the pot/pan placed on it, so any accidental switching on is ruled out.
The cooling fan switches on automatically when the temperature rises to 50°C and switches off when the temperature drops to 35°C.
